Simple Sweater 8ply | Purl Foundry

Go minimalist with this relaxed fit, drop-shoulder sweater. This sweater enjoys a loose silhouette with a wide neckline and subtle shaping along the neck edge and sleeves. Great for marle, variegated or speckle yarns.

Opt for either two lightweight strands held double for a marle fabric, or just go for a straight 8 ply / DK weight yarn. Knit in the round from the bottom up before separating at the underarms to work flat.

Knit in the round from the bottom up. Sleeves and neckline are picked up and knit once the shoulders are seamed.

Sizes: A (B, C, D) (E, F, G, H)
Finished bust measurement:  92 (100, 104, 111.5) (115, 123, 127, 132)
Yarn (meterage): 1,230 (1,230, 1353, 1353) (1,476, 1,476, 1,476, 1,599)  - Note - if you are using double stranded for a marl effect you will need this quantity of both yarns.
Other requirements: 3.5 and 4.5mm 80cm circular needles
