The Ashley Cardigan and Hoodie from The Kiwi Stitch & Knit Co has a cosy relaxed fit with button detail. It is knitted in one piece from the bottom up to the armholes, and the back can be worked with or without the garter stitch ridges.

Sizes: 3-6mths | 6-12mths | 1-2yrs | 3-4yrs
Yarn: 8ply 50g balls - Cardigan - 3 | 4 | 4 | 5
Hoodie - 4 | 5 | 5 | 6
Needles: 3.75mm & 4mm straight or circular with 60/80cm cord
Other requirements: 6 stitch holders, plus 6 stitch markers (Hoodie 7-10 stitch markers to keep track of the increases in hood), 6-9 buttons for cardigan and 5-8 buttons for hoodie
Suggested yarn: Ashford 8ply merino or Broadway NZ Naturals merino
